David Christianson, BA, R.F.P., CFP, CIM, TEP
David Christianson has been a practicing financial planner since 1982, specializing in helping clients identify and reach their financial and life goals. His approach to wealth management is holistic and comprehensive. He and the Christianson Wealth Advisors team manage about $225 million of investment assets for about 95 client families.
David is also the author of the popular consumer book “Managing the Bull, A No-Nonsense Guide to Personal Finance”.
David holds the R.F.P., CFP, CIM and TEP designations, and the FP Canada Fellow award. He has written a weekly Winnipeg Free Press newspaper column, Dollars and Sense, since 1994, keeping him in touch with the issues affecting financial consumers. David has won a number of other professional awards, including Top 50 Advisor in Canada in 2014, 2015 and 2018, Advisor of the Year, Prairie Region nd in 2002, Canadian Association of Financial Planners Member of Distinction in 2001. David is a past chair of the Winnipeg Chapter of the international Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He has also been active in the community, and was awarded the Governor General’s Canada 125th Commemorative Medal in 1992, in recognition of volunteer leadership and community involvement.
