We chose the topic of Portfolio Construction, as it impacts the valued work financial planning professionals undertake in crafting tailored solutions for clients in managing their investment portfolios as part of their lifelong financial security.
Their talk will address the critical steps in portfolio construction from asset allocation, sector and geographical diversification, securities and alternative investments, risk management, the role of the IPS and investor profile in the design process. They will discuss client perceptions of what this process entails, and the creation of an efficient portfolio tailored to client circumstance.
This wide-ranging discussion will be valuable to all professional planners working to provide the best results for their clients; from the perspective of two investment professionals active in portfolio construction and ongoing management.
A roundtable discussion will be held to learn your experiences and challenges that you see going forward from a planning perspective.
